Figure 1: Protocol tab

After selecting one of the protocols, you can find protocol parameters set during configuration. The program shows the following parameters:

  • „Rx data +” – number of successful read operation

  • „Rx data -” – number of unsuccessful read operation

  • „Tx data +” – number of successful write operation

  • „Tx data -” – number of unsuccessful write operation

In the right column, the program provides the following information:

  • TX frames – number of successfully sent frames

  • CRC errors – number of CRC errors

  • Incomplete frames – number of incomplete frames

  • Time-out count – number of timeouts

  • Invalid rx frames – number of invalid (BAD) frames (the received frame has an unexpected type, an unknown frame attribute was received, the frame is from a protocol other than the used one)

  • Rx synchro errors – number of synchronization errors

  • NAK counter – number of received NAK (negative acknowledge)

  • Max response [ms] – waiting time (in milliseconds) for the first character in response (minimum/average/maximum)

  • Max char gap [us] – waiting interval (in microseconds) between characters in response (minimum/average/maximum)
