This topic describes the process of download, installation and first launch of the OPC UA Address Space Model Designer.

Download

OPC UA Address Space Model Designer can be downloaded from CommServer Vortal. To download OPC UA Address Space Model Designer, it is essential to do the following steps:

  1. Register at CommServer Vortal using this website

  2. Log in on CommServer Vortal using log-in website

  3. Download OPC UA Address Space Model Designer from the download website

Installation and first launch

The setup application uses the Microsoft ClickOnce technology. Description of that technology can be found under this link on MSDN.

Note Note
Sometimes firewalls cause problems with the ClickOnce technology, because ClickOnce tries to download an applica-tion update implicitly.

To install OPC UA Address Space Model Designer, please do the following steps:

  1. If the application was downloaded using Internet Explorer, the installation process will start automatically. If another web browser is used, run the downloaded file setup.exe.

  2. Follow the instructions on the screen.

  3. After the installation process, the OPC UA Address Space Model Designer will start automatically.
